The standard 2.5-liter inline-four turbo engine delivers 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque to the 2025 Lexus NX. It can also be outfitted with an available 275-horsepower, 317-lb-ft of torque 2.4-liter turbo engine. The latter engine comes standard on the Lexus RX.

Luxury

Both of these models feature identical luxury features, but they do differ in availability. For example, Thematic Ambient Illumination is available in five Lexus NX trims and standard in four; on the Lexus RX, it’s standard in ten trims. The Lexus NX features a standard smog sensor and automatic recirculation mode in its climate control system, and while this feature is available on ten Lexus RX trims, it isn’t a standard feature.

Dimensions

Interior space is similar in these two models, but there are key differences. Both feature room for up to five passengers, but while the Lexus NX features up to 38.5 inches of headroom, the Lexus RX expands it to a maximum of 39.5 inches. As for cargo room, the Lexus NX takes the gold medal with up to 46.9 cubic feet of storage space; the Lexus RX achieves an impressive second place with 46.2 cubic feet.
